The Southern Crescent Chorale (SCC) celebrated its 20th season with many spectacular events. Always a popular choice for quality entertainment, the Chorale performed the wildly popular “DECADES” Concert at Brightmoor Amphitheater in Fayetteville on May 14 to conclude this very special season. The Chorale was thrilled to have Fayetteville Mayor Ed Johnson present a proclamation at the concert declaring May 14, 2022 Southern Crescent Chorale Day in Fayetteville. The Chorale also received a commendation from Governor Brian Kemp which was presented at the 20th Season Celebration Concert in March. An appearance on 11-Alive’s weekday morning show Atlanta & Company on May 11 was another milestone for the Chorale this season. And Leanne Farrington, who served as SCC Executive Director from the Chorale’s inception to the close of the season, retired after twenty years. The entire organization was grateful for her dedication and exemplary service!
